Its double sized and quad primed with an archival quality oil primer impervious to paints leaching through that harm the fabric. For oils or alkyds only. Its highly absorbent and has excellent qualities of luminosity. It has a warm yellowish hue and is an exceptionally smooth surface! Linen is very strong and has natural oils within its fibers which keep it flexible and help prevent disintegration over time.
