Description
MODEL NUMBER5304517203 Dishwasher Lower Wash Arm Assembly. The lower spray arm is designed to be used with a variety of dishwashers from Kenmore Kelvinator Frigidaire and Crosley. This is a lower spray arm that is used in many home dishwashers. The lower spray arm sprays water that is used to clean dishes. The water jets that come off of the spray arm are angled and the force of the water pushes the arm so that it rotates. A dishwasher with a broken or missing spray arm will not thoroughly clean dishes. High heat or wear and tear can cause damage to the spray arm which will need to be replaced. If the lower spray arm is faulty or damaged the dishwasher should be turned off and unplugged from the wall. There will be a screw that holds the spray arm on the base of the dishwasher that needs to be unscrewed. This will allow access to the spray arm so that it can be removed. Reinstall the bearing to the new spray arm and tighten it with a screw before use.
