20 X 24 Raminou and Pitcher with Carnations was painted by Suzanne Valadon in 1932. In addition to celebrating the curves of the human form Valadon enjoyed capturing her cat Raminou on canvas. Valadon LED an exciting life my most accounts. After retiring from the circus as a traipse artist due to injury Valadon turned to modeling for some of the biggest names in the art world including Renoir and Toulouse-Lautrec. After observing the process of these painters Valadon decided to pick up the paintbrush herself. We have recreated this enduring piece in hand-painted oil on canvas.
